Over the past 6 years, Parker Holcomb (Amherst College '11) has started 3 businesses - All College Storage (est.2008), All College Laundry (est. 2009), and eHighlighter (est. 2012), as well as been an advocate of entrepreneurship efforts at Amherst College and throughout the Pioneer Valley.
All College Storage operates the model "Student Run. Professionally Done." and provides entrepreneruship opportunities to students wishing to estabilsh their own campus business (along with Parker's guidance). Since Parker's graduation, All College Storage has grown from 7 to 23 campuses - with presence in 5 states from New York to Maine.
eHighlighter gained national recognition with features in dozens of ed tech articles, and became an Evernote Trunk Featured App in 2013. Evernote also wrote this blog post on Parker's Evernote use for all of his businesses.
Over the past year, Parker has spent much of his time learning to code (iOS and Ruby on Rails) to advance his understanding and leadership in the technical area of his products.
Parker won the Grinspoon, Garvey & Young Alumni Entrepreneurship Award in 2014 and a Grinspoon Entrepreneurial Spirit Award in 2012. He is also a graduate of the Valley Venture Mentors program.
